In one of the least surprising property announcements of the MIPIM property convention in Cannes, IM Properties has been revealed as the developer chosen for the first phase of the 160-acre Peddimore industrial site at Sutton Coldfield.

IM Properties -— who have been associated with the site since it was assembled — beat rivals including Bericote and Prologis.

As Bisnow reported last week, the choice of developer opens the way to 3M SF of logistics and manufacturing development.

The site close to junction 9 of the M42 motorway, either side of the A38 Sutton Coldfield bypass, adds to a  formidable list of IM Properties schemes in the region including Blythe Valley and Birmingham's The Hub.
