Yesterday, the gym (designed like an ?80s throwback, even though the equipment is state-of-the-art), signed for 12k SF at St. John Properties' 190k SF Timonium Business Park. There are 60 locations on the East Coast (including one in Jessup) and the company's scouting for more sites in Maryland. St. Johns? Jerry Witt says Retro?s build-out costs are minimal and expects increased traffic from their low-cost, high-value business model. The gym will open this spring.
