Central Perimeter 2016 To Feature Insights From Area Developers, Mayors On The Bellwether Market

The Central Perimeter is Atlanta's largest office submarket, as well as the city's geographic, population and employment center. So Atlanta real estate insiders who want a sense of what lies in store for the overall office market seek information about what's happening there.

They'll be getting it in spades tomorrow when Central Perimeter's biggest developers, as well as local government leaders, gather at Bisnow's Central Perimeter 2016 event at The Retreat at Perimeter Summit, starting at 7:30am.

The panelists include Hotel Development Partners CEO Allen O'Brien, Ackerman & Co SVP Pat Chesser, Perimeter CID CEO Yvonne Williams, JLL SVP Kay Younglove, and two mayors, Rusty Paul of Sandy Springs and Denis Shortal of Dunwoody.

Denis tells us Dunwoody and its Perimeter area have seen new building activity from State Farm, Mercedes, Crown Holdings, High Street and Sterling Pointe—"all key participants in a growing market."

While the Perimeter may be booming now, the mayor says future success for the area is contingent upon its ability to "provide a diverse range of conveniences, restaurant and retail, outdoor amenities and transit options. "
