Worthing Eyes Second Midtown West Project

Another developer is raising a new apartment project in Midtown.

Worthing Cos has filed land development permits with the City of Atlanta for a multifamily project at 903 Huff Rd in the old Georgia Steel property off Howell Mill Road and 17th Street near Atlantic Station. While the permit names the project as The Heights @ Midtown West, it is not the same as the now-underway apartment community that Worthing is developing on Bishop Street—a mile west of the Georgia Steel site. Instead, Worthing lists the project as The Heights at Georgia Steel on its website, with plans to open it by next summer. It's part of a growing list of Worthing's Heights-branded multifamily projects dotting metro Atlanta, including the second phase of the Heights at Brookleigh (here) off Blair Circle, Heights at Sugarloaf in Duluth and Chastain Heights in Sandy Spring—the two latter planned for openings next year.
