TC Residential Readying East Atlanta Project

The hits keep on coming for Trammell Crow Residential. It continues to make strides on transforming 1205 Metropolitan Ave in Atlanta into a new three-building multifamily project it calls Alexan Village Flats, which we first reported here. Trammell Crow filed permits with the City of Atlanta recently to begin construction on the three apartment buildings—a total of 120 units—at the site of the former John B Gordon Elementary School in East Atlanta Village. This is the same abandoned Atlanta school that was targeted a couple of years ago by Paces Properties for a project that never materialized. That said, we're surprised Hollywood wasn't interested in just keeping the abandoned school (shuttered in 1995) as is for future horror movie sets.
