Mill Creek Starts Second Phase Of Morningside Project

Modera Morningside by Mill Creek Residential Trust is already getting more units.

Mill Creek just delivered 300 units in its mixed-use project in the Morningside neighborhood, and now plans the second phase that will include 21 condo-style apartments with 4,700 SF of ground-floor retail facing Piedmont Avenue. The first phase included a 27k SF Sprouts Farmers Market store.

The second phase will aim to provide the residents their own little community, according to a company release, with a private outdoor amenity space that "will separate it from virtually every community in the surrounding area," says Mill Creek's Oz Friedmann. Mill Creek also plans to build a pedestrian bridge to connect the new apartment units with direct access to the retail and residential units in the first phase.
