Mill Creek Residential is officially starting its Modera Midtown, a 29-story apartment tower that will overlook Georgia Tech and be within striking distance of the future NCR HQ tower. The 435-unit project on 8th Street and Peachtree Place is part of Mill Creek's more than 1,000 unit pipeline in the Atlanta market, including plans for a tower at Promove's offices in Buckhead, just next to Buckhead Atlanta. Asking rents were not disclosed, but if the current trend holds true, many commercial real estate pros see Mill Creek fetching mid- to high $2/SF for various units, and perhaps even $3/SF or more for its three-bedroom selection.
