Trammell Crow Developing 615K SF Distribution Center For Home Depot

Trammell Crow has snagged a hometown home improvement retailer to kick off a new industrial park off Interstate 20.

The Home Depot has inked a deal for a 615K SF build-to-suit distribution center at Stonecrest Business Park, a planned 300-plus-acre industrial complex near Stonecrest Mall in the city of Stonecrest just east of Downtown Atlanta.

Home Depot plans to use the facility for bulk deliveries to both residential customers and commercial job sites throughout Metro Atlanta, Trammell Crow officials said. CBRE Vice Chairman Tony Kepano represented Home Depot in the deal.

The facility is expected to open by April.

This is the latest industrial project for Trammell Crow in Atlanta. Earlier this year, the firm announced a joint venture project with Diamond Realty Investments to develop a 404K SF business center in Newnan called Innovation Business Center. The two-building project is located within the Shenandoah Industrial Park.
