Ridgeline, Clarion Going Spec in McDonough

Ridgeline Property Group is teaming up with real estate investment giant Clarion Partners for its newest Atlanta spec industrial project.

Ridgeline's co-founder Mike Gray (snapped with co-founder Greg Thurman) tells us his group--in a JV with Clarion Partners--will immediately begin construction on a nearly 715k SF spec warehouse in McDonough. The project is being built on what Mike describes as a complete “sleeper” site at the corner of GA Hwy 175 and I-75, bought from a bank. “It was just sitting there for the taking. It's an A-plus location in Henry County,” Mike says. And like many of today's new industrial projects, Ridgeline will build it with 36' ceiling heights and 56' wide column spacing--characteristics that make the project particularly appealing for e-fulfillment distribution centers. This deal comes nearly two months after we reported how Ridgeline was teaming up with Hillwood Investment Properties on a spec warehouse in Jackson County.
