Longtime Atlanta industrial player Price Muir has headed way up north on I-75 for the latest industrial megaproject.
Price's WPM Commercial is marketing a 220-acre tract in Adairsville, sandwiched between Cartersville and Dalton off I-75, for a 3.5M SF distribution complex. But instead of developing the project himself, Price says he will parcel out the land to big-box users, or will have his partner Rooker develop facilities for clients.
"There's a rapidly dwindling supply of large industrial land sites along the I-75 corridor between Atlanta and Chattanooga, and demand is increasing," he says. Price adds that he expects the site to attract not only distribution companies but potential manufacturers.
