Apple REIT Buying Home2 Suites on Walton

The yet-to-be completed Atlanta Home2Suites already has a new buyer. Apple Hospitality REIT has the 128-room hotel under contract with Walton International for $24.6M, the firm reports in an SEC filing. It's part of a two-hotel purchase by Apple, which also includes the SpingHill Suites in Burbank, CA for $60M. The Hilton extended-stay brand, Home2Suites is a nine-story hotel underway on Walton Street in Downtown Atlanta.
