SALES

Media mogul Tyler Perry has added to his 330-acre sprawling film and television production campus at the former Fort McPherson U.S. Army base. His studio company purchased 37 acres from the Fort McPherson Local Redevelopment Authority for $8.4M, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported. The added acreage makes Tyler Perry Studios three times larger than Disneyland in California, the ABC reported.

Perry previously told the publication that he planned to add retail, restaurants and an entertainment district to his studio campus, including a 3,000-seat theater.
