TAX MAN GIVETH

While most of us dread hearing from the tax authorities this time of year, Highwoods Properties must have been thrilled last week when the Georgia Department of Revenue called.
 

DOR extended its lease for 280k SF at 1800 Century Blvd. to June 30, 2021. At an annual rent of $4.89 million, local Highwoods execs probably are excited to pay taxes this year. (Okay, excited might be too strong.)
