| Yes, Bisnow was on the ground in Vegas (aka, the Buckhead of the West), where yesterday we caught up with Shopping Center Group chairman and co-CEO David Birnbrey. He tells us mainstream big-box retailers have resurfaced, and the Circuit City and Linens 'N Things spaces are being filled. He also says Ultimate Electronics is showing an interest in entering Atlanta, and Save-A-Lot and hhgregg may expand here. His prediction for 2010? A good year for store openings. But 2011 and 2012 will be great. |
