Ebenezer & Financial Hope

One of Atlanta's most historic churches, Ebenezer Baptist Church, will be home to the first HOPE Financial Literacy Empowerment Center. Yesterday?s groundbreaking attracted a who's who of politicians, business leaders, and clergy. Also on hand were two children of DrMartin Luther King Jr., who preached of course at the church. Los Angeles-based Operation HOPE is a non-profit focused on financial literacy. Sponsors for the Atlanta center include Sun Trust Bank, Wachovia/Wells Fargo, Citizen's Trust Bank, Capitol City Bank, the Financial Services Roundtable, and Ebenezer Baptist Church. The FDIC is a national partner of Operation HOPE.
