Gamma Real Estate and local investor Dion Meltzer are now in a world of Hurt.

The firm has officially purchased the historic Hurt Building, the 436k SF tower at 50 Hurt Plaza in Downtown Atlanta, from Boxer Properties for $33.5M. Lincoln Property's Chip Sipple along with SRS Real Estate Partners' Kyle Stonis and Pierce Mayson brokered the off-market transaction.

The plan, Chip says, will be for Dion to push rates and lease up the remaining vacancy, which now tallies 71%.
