It looks like Coweta County shoppers are getting a new department store. Though there's been no formal announcement, we found a state filing for a shopping center planned for Wynn?s Pond Road called Fischer Crossing. It will be anchored by a Kohl?s. Total build-out of the center will be 340K SF with 1,689 parking spots, with completion of part of the center in 2014 and the rest the following year. Kohl?s already has a number of locations in the Atlanta suburbs and exurbs, including Northlake Mall and Merchants Walk in Marietta and Turner Hill Road in Lithonia and Mt. Zion Parkway in Stockbridge.
