MetaProp NYC, the accelerator based in Flatiron devoted entirely to growing startups focused on commercial real estate, is opening up applications for its third class of companies.

The 22-week accelerator program will start taking candidate applications May 30. The startups accepted get at least $250K in financing, access to a network of entrepreneurs, and venture capital and educational programs. The application window is open until July 31, and the class of 2017 will be announced in August.

“From New York City to London to Hong Kong to Mumbai, we’re seeing incredible new technologies transforming the real estate industry,” MetaProp NYC co-founder and managing director Aaron Block said in a release. “We expect another record year for applications and look forward to the continued support of influential partners including the Real Estate Board of New York, Zillow Group, Silicon Valley Bank and more.”

The last time MetaProp's accelerator program sought out startups, only 3% of the applications were accepted. The program's 2016 class included Bowery, a tech appraisal startup that launched earlier this week with a $1.75M round of seed funding — including from New York City real estate royalty the LeFrak family, one of many traditional real estate investors increasingly broadening their investment portfolio with PropTech startups.
