We send our sincere condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of two commercial real estate execs who died in the Amtrak crash this week. Wells Fargo SVP Abid Gilani, who worked in the hospitality finance group in NYC, was on his way back to New York after attending a funeral in Virginia, the NY Daily News reported. Abid recently relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area to be near his wife and kids, and commuted to New York every week for work. Abid had been with Wells Fargo for about a year and previously worked for Marriott.

Cushman & Wakefield managing director Laura Finamore was also lost in the crash. Laura was a native of Douglaston, Queens, and graduated from Benjamin Cardozo High School and George Washington University. A funeral service for her will take place in Manhasset, NY, on Long Island, and her family has asked that any gifts be directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her name. She was 47.
