Former CEO Of Prologis Capital Signs On To Hightower Board Of Directors

Former CEO of Prologis Capital Guy Jaquier has joined the Hightower board of directors.

Guy tells Bisnow that assuming the new mantle was an easy choice because of Hightower’s reputation. He says he has long been fascinated by how emerging technologies would shape the commercial real estate industry.

After surveying the market, Guy is confident that Hightower is a leader of the CRE tech revolution. With his input and guidance, the 30-year commercial real estate vet is very excited for what lies in the growing Hightower’s future.

Guy holds a bachelor's degree in building construction management from the University of Washington and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.

He turned those diplomas into leadership roles at Prologis, Swig Co, Equilibrium Capital, Juniper Square and the University of Washington Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies.

“Guy has been a leading figure in CRE for over 30 years,” Hightower CEO Brandon Weber says.

Brandon praised the new board member for his demonstrated leadership abilities and his well-rounded résumé. Weber will be deploying Guy’s expertise as the company looks to achieve international expansion, further develop its new industrial-specific product, and increase its market share of the capital partner community.

Guy has also served as the president of Europe and Asia at AMB Property Corp, senior investment officer of real estate at the California Public Employees’ Retirement System, and EVP of the West Coast region at Lend Lease.
