Bank of China to Lease 60% of 7 Bryant Park

Placeholder

Bank of China will make about 60% of 7 Bryant Park available for lease when it completes the $600M deal to buy the building from Hines and JPMorgan. While it was believed that the bank would be using the entire 30-story building as its US base of operations, it will only be claiming about 188,400 SF for its own use and recouping some of the purchase price by bringing on tenants for the remaining 283k SF, the New York Post reports. CBRE, the agent for the building’s developers, declined to comment. [NYP]
