Renderings Out for Dushinsky’s New Bushwick Rental

Placeholder

Renderings are out for Simon Dushinsky’s 392-unit, 400k SF rental on the former site of the Rheingold Brewery in Bushwick. ODA New York designed the seven-story building, shown in renderings with a 25k SF grassy roof and a courtyard. Tenants will be able to “hike” along a path on the roof and there’ll be an area for urban farming, The Real Deal reports. The Rabsky Group paid $53M for the full-block site last year. It’ll have the 80/20 breakdown of market rate vs. affordable housing typical of projects that get a 421a tax break. That program’s up for renewal (or expiration) in June. [TRD]
