New Nine-Story Residential Building Coming To Long Island City

Placeholder

One of the last remaining lots for development around Queensboro Plaza in Long Island City is getting a nine-story residential building.

Permits filed with the city call for 30 units and 2,080 SF of retail space on the ground floor.

Kenny Liu, the developer of the project, picked up the site in September of 2016 for $6.5M, according to NY Yimby. There will be a roof deck and the development won’t include any parking.

The block the project sits on has seen a flurry of new development recently, including the 15-story Steel Haus being developed by the Hakimian Organization. [NYY]
