New Submissions for Downtown Brooklyn Macy’s Redevelopment Competition

Placeholder

The redevelopment competition for the Macy’s store and parking garage in Downtown Brooklyn has received two new submissions. Leeser Architecture has submitted plans for 1.2M SF of development that will include 200k SF of retail space. The development would encompass 450-458 Fulton St and 217 Livingston St and consist of 468 rental units and 230 condos divided between two residential towers. Ismael Leyva’s submission features two similarly sized residential towers and a similar configuration to the Leeser plans, according to NY Yimby. There's no confirmed completion date for the project yet. [NYY]
