Former Refrigerator Warehouse Heats Up Nabe

Placeholder

TF Cornerstone vice president Jake Elghanayan tells us that when his family bought the property at 95 Horatio St back in the ‘80s, it was a refrigerator warehouse. Now it’s being converted to multi-use and, by location, a part of the buzz of the new Whitney Museum happening across the street. Jake is giving careful consideration to the retailers who want to be part of the excitement. Jake says that he cares both about the commercial real estate industry and the future of the neighborhood. The landmark review board already likes what TF Cornerstone has done with the place, and Jake says that retail is now at a very exciting point in the area. With the Whitney to be attracting even more crowds than usual, the competition for retail space is fierce. For more info on our Bisnow partner, click here.
