1M SF Mixed-Use Site in Flushing for Sale

Placeholder

A massive mixed-use site in Flushing, Queens is set to hit the market, New York YIMBY reported Monday. Plans submitted to the city call for a residential and retail development called River Park Place, comprised of four towers and 457 apartment units. Half of the space will be apartments and half commercial or community uses like a possible daycare center, says YIMBY. The owner of the plot at 131-35 Roosevelt Ave, LEV Group, bought the site in 2006 for $26M. Since then, the opening of Citi Field has been a boon for development in the area, if not for the Mets, whose lease at the stadium contains a hidden clause that they must find ways to disappoint fans no matter what happens in the surrounding neighborhood.
