Over her 30-year career, Nicola Heryet has served as a senior managing director at Cushman & Wakefield and a principal at DTZ/Cassidy Turley and Colliers ABR and closed over 25M SF in transactions. Now she's joining Avison Young’s NYC office as a principal.

As the 20-year rep for Kellwood Co, she helped the major designer of premier fashion manufacturer renew its 80k SF Manhattan lease. She also repped Answers Corp in its 30k SF Manhattan lease, its 70k SF renewal in Ann Arbor, MI, and its leases in Tel Aviv and London. Nicola helped reposition and lease 654 Madison Ave, a 150k SF Plaza District boutique office. Over the past five years, she has renewed and leased more than 110k SF at the property.

Nicola has received REBNY’s Robert T. Lawrence Memorial Award for the 740k SF relocation of the United Federation of Teachers HQ and was named one of the Women Real Estate Leaders for the 21st Century by Real Estate NY.

Cushman & Wakefield's top NYC brass has been in the news quite a bit this month, hiring away Eastdil Secured's best investment sales team and losing tenant rep brokers Owen Hane, Don Preate and Frank Coco to JLL. Nicola's hire just continues the momentum Avison Young has in NYC, furthering its goals of rapid expansion and growing diversity.
