Rob Speyer, at 46, will take over one of NYC’s most valuable portfolios with assets that include Rockefeller Center and the Chrysler Building as the sole CEO of Tishman Speyer. For the past seven years, he’s held the title jointly with his father, Jerry, who’ll stay on as chairman.

Rob’s been in the family business since 1995. He became REBNY’s youngest chair in 2012. The move comes as the company is on a roll, announcing last month its first foray into Brooklyn with the $270M buy of the Macy’s store at 422 Fulton St, which will be partially converted into high-end office space.

Lisa Kiell, Kenneth Siegel and Derek Trulson have been promoted to vice chairman at JLL. Lisa’s responsible for planning and implementing transaction strategies for a wide range of clients in NYC and globally, with a focus on technology, law firm and financial services clients. Prior to joining JLL, Lisa worked in real estate development/leasing for LCOR in Jersey City and as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers. Kenneth is a senior leader of JLL’s tenant representation practice in NYC. He manages relationships with national and global occupier clients, and leads tenant rep assignments for clients in the NY metro area. Before joining JLL, Kenneth worked in the real estate finance group at Cowen & Co., at Solow Building Co. and was a CPA at Price Waterhouse. Derek oversees New York-based and national client transaction management, business development, and identification of local and national strategic growth opportunities. Derek began his career as a developer and construction project manager, managing the complete building process from space planning to permit/design review to construction and tenant move-in.

Janet Woods has joined Stan Johnson Co as Northeast regional director. Most recently, Janet served as executive managing director for DTZ, where she led the national and local nonprofit practice group and served as head of strategy for the New York City office.

Thomas DeFazio has joined Winick Realty Group’s NJ office. He’ll focus on landlord and tenant rep throughout the state. For 26 years, Thomas worked in equity sales, trading and operations for major financial institutions including Merrill Lynch, Bank of NY and Cantor Fitzgerald.

Yeshiva University sold six buildings in the Bronx to Com Affiliation. 1300 Morris Park Ave sold for $99.5M. A five-building portfolio of 1225 Morris Park Ave, 1910 Seminol Ave, 1865 Eastchester Rd, 1301 Morris Park Ave and 2035 Eastchester Rd fetched $97.6M.
