New York City’s crowded investment sales world is getting another brokerage, with two former Eastern Consolidated brokers relaunching an independent investment sales firm.

Former Eastern Senior Directors Rubin Isak and Lev Kimyagarov announced the launch of Goldenwood Property Advisors on Monday. Rubin, along with his brother Alex, founded the firm in 2016 before closing it down to join Eastern last year.

They will be joined by fellow former Eastern brokers Mark Pietrogiacomo, Alex Isak and Michael Musto and analyst Jonathan Sherman.

“I’m very excited to be launching Goldenwood Property Advisors with Lev and our outstanding team,” Rubin Isak said in a statement. “Together, we have extensive market expertise gained from decades of working in the New York City metro area, and a proven track record of success of attaining maximum value for clients.”

Eastern closed at the end of last month, which put more than 100 brokers and staffers out of a job.

Meanwhile, more firms have been added to the New York City investment sales scene. Six-year-old Compass, previously focused on residential real estate, has set up an investment sales arm behind former Eastern principal Adelaide Polsinelli, and Paul Massey has set up his new firm, B6 Real Estate Advisors, and is on the hunt for a total of 50 brokers.

Lee and Associates has also set up its own investment sales arm, luring a team from Venture Capital Properties.
