Remembering Andy Oliver

New York

Our condolences to friends and family of investment banking leader Andy Oliver, who passed away on Dec. 23, at the age of 59. In 2007, Andy and his partners sold Sonnenblick-Goldman Co. to Cushman & Wakefield.

As his NY Times obituary notes, Andy died peacefully in his sleep at his home in Vail, CO, survived by his wife of 29 years, Nancy, and their only child, Danielle, who he was able to walk down the aisle at her wedding this past August. His passion for travel brought him to 94 countries, from Syria and Lebanon to a solo trip on the Trans-Siberian Railway. The family would like to support Memorial Sloan Kettering's head and neck cancer research, spearheaded by Andy's doctor, Dr. David G. Pfister. Donations in Andy's memory can be made here.
