RMK Management Corp. has added Prairie Point Apartments, a complex of 300 luxury apartment homes in Merrillville, Ind., to its management portfolio. The property was developed by local developer SJBZ Development. Located at Cleveland Street and West 91st Drive, the property includes units ranging from one to three bedrooms and from 753 to 1,184 SF.


ML Realty Partners has completed numerous lease transactions in the Chicago suburbs totaling more than 500k SF of industrial space.

  • Tech Lighting at 7400 Linder Ave. in Skokie renewed its lease for 192k SF of industrial space. Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler's Chris Volkert represented the tenant.
  • Trend Technologies at 737-875 Fargo Ave. in Elk Grove Village renewed its lease for 159k SF of industrial/ manufacturing space. Mass Realty's Bill Mass repped the tenant.
  • Windy City Wire, headquartered at 386 Internationale Dr. in Bolingbrook, Ill., renewed its 111k SF lease and expanded by another 53k SF of new industrial space.


Lee & Associates' Jeff Janda and Jim Planey repped Rehabtech in the leasing of 30k SF of industrial space located at 335 Eisenhower Lane South in Lombard. Cushman & Wakefield's Sean Henrick repped owner TA Associates Realty in the transaction.


Perl Mortgage has renewed its 5k SF at Corporate 500 Center, 500 Lake Cook Road in Deerfield. Podolsky Northstar CORFAC International's Corey Chase represented the tenant. The building is owned by Arden GE Capital, who was represented by Colliers Bennett Kahnweiler's Chis Cummings. Arden GE Capital's local rep is Laura Quayle.


Door Connection completed a lease renewal for 14k SF at 1400 Norwood Ave. in Itasca. Podolsky Northstar CORFAC International repped the landlord, KTR Illinois. Podolsky's Adam Tarantur and Randy Podolsky represented KTR. NAI Hiffman's Larry Much and Kelly Disser repped the tenant. Barack Ferrazzano's Dapo Adedeji provided legal services for KTR Illinois.


LiLi Auto USA leased 6k SF of industrial space at 2640 Corporate Pkwy. in Algonquin. Lee & Associates' Steve Bass and Nick Eboli repped building ownership, Rothbart Realty/Construction, and Northwest Commercial Realty's Jeremy Mahnke repped the tenant.


Ingram Enterprises purchased a 26k SF industrial building at 21775 Weiland Rd. in Prairie View. Lee & Associates' Terry O'Hara and Paul Tesdal represented building ownership, Northwest Building Materials & Supply, and Pitler & Mandell's Phil Mandell repped the buyer.


Trust Air Cargo USA purchased a 10k SF industrial building at 2206 Lively Blvd. in Elk Grove Village. Lee & Associates' Jeff Janda and Jim Planey represented building ownership, TDC Holding and Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler's Jon Kohn repped the buyer.


McShane Construction Co. is building out 15k SF of office for Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. The law firm is relocating to 155 North Wacker Dr., Suite 4300. The new professional services suite will include 36 private offices, 12 soft offices, three conference rooms, an extensive law library, and a kitchen/breakroom.ASD Architects is providing the architectural services for the assignment, scheduled to finish in September.


A10 Capital has hired Greg Cazel to head up the Midwest markets for the firm. Greg has closed over $4.5B of commercial real financing transactions in this region during his 25-year career and was consistently the top field producer for JP Morgan's CMBS conduit. He was most recently the Midwest regional director for a JLL and Real Estate Disposition JV that sold performing and non-performing notes and loan pools.
