It's a sunny day for Project SolarStrong: Bank of America Merrill Lynch is joining in on creating $1B in solar projects by installing rooftop photovoltaic systems on up to 160,000 US military residences and buildings on as many as 124 US bases in 33 states.SolarCity will install, own, and operate the installations; US Renewables Group is lead lender; and BofA is providing debt financing. Thousands of workers are expected to be hired over the five-year project.
