REBNY’S FIRST LADY; THE BOOK ON POP-UP
Congrats to Mary Ann Tighe, CBRE NY Tri-State Region CEO, just named REBNY’s new chairman! She’s the first woman to hold the position and the first brokerage professional to be named chairman in 30 years, succeeding Related CEO Stephen Ross in January ’10.

Mary Ann, second from left, with REBNY’s Eileen Spinola, Eastern Consolidated’s Peter Hauspurg, and REBNY prez Steven Spinola in April. Mary Ann’s no stranger to REBNY—she’s a six-time winner of the organization’s Ingenious Deal of the Year award; received ‘04’s Louis Smadbeck Memorial Broker Recognition Award, REBNY’s highest brokerage award; and ‘09’s Bernard H. Mendik Lifetime Achievement Award. The hard-working broker tells us she’s busy marketing space at 510 Madison, 7 WTC, 1540 Broadway, 55 Water St., 200 Fifth, the Crown Building, and Forest City Ratner’s Brooklyn portfolio. Keep your eyes peeled—she has several exciting deals over 200k SF coming up.
