We think Clifford the Big Red Dog, Al Roker, and Santa would be proud—last week, Macy’s broke ground on its 71,476 SF Parade Studio at 140 State St. in Moonachie, NJ, which will be its new home for designing and constructing the floats and balloons for the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Above, council president Dennis Vaccaro, Moonachie mayor Fred Dressel, NJ Meadowlands Commission’s Robert Ceberio, Russo Development’s Edward Russo and Michael Pembroke, and Macy’s John Piper, Amy Kule, and Robin Hall. Russo Development is building the project, with completion slated for August ’11.
