Seventeen hours before we snapped Brookfield US CEO Mitch Rudin and CBRE’s John Maher at the REBNY banquet, Brookfield had completed the first bridge span of the platform over the rail yard for Manhattan West.
Here’s the big moment: 2am Thursday morning. Much of the work happens at night when train traffic is at its lowest, as the pieces can be moved only when no trains are moving in or out.
