The Arker Cos, in conjunction with the City, State, and Bank of America, recently broke ground on two adjacent affordable housing complexes in Richmond Hill. The $20M, 63k SF Richmond Hill Senior Living Residences (left, 65 units) will provide age-restricted housing, while the $34M, 136k SF Richmond Place (117 units) will provide family housing, with one-fifth of units set aside for homeless families. Both will serve residents with incomes below 60% of the area median income upon its December '12 completion.
