Hail to the BOMA Chief
Stream Realty Partners' Chris Jackson, Paul Moser, Ray Mackey Jr., Mike McVean, and Lance Taylor
Ray Mackey Jr., COO of Dallas-based Stream Realty Partners has come long way from 1984, when his boss told him he was green and needed some guidance. He recommended Ray, center, take classes at the Dallas Building Owners and Managers Association. Fast forward to last week, when Ray took over as the chairman and chief elected officer of BOMA International, which represents 92 local associations across the US (including Greater New York) and 13 international affiliates. Above, Ray between Stream colleagues Chris Jackson, Paul Moser, Mike McVean, and Lance Taylor.

Mike—toasting Ray and his wife, Cami (who will mark their 31st wedding anniversary next month)—says Stream's first major institutional piece of business, the Pyramids at Park Lane office complex in Dallas, was inked with the firm solely because of Ray was part of the team. Ray helped to grow Stream's leasing and management portfolio from 750k SF of commercial space to more than 60M SF in six major markets. He has worked for Trammell Crow Co., Rostland Property Management Co., and Texas Instruments, as well as for Uncle Sam in the USAF. Mike says Ray does anything he sets his mind to, from quitting smoking to losing weight. The ability to leap Dallas' 55-story Chase Tower in a single bound can't be far behind.
