FOR ALL THE LADIES IN THE HOUSE
Stephanie Butler, Jennifer Carey, Christine Vulaj, Rachel Rahimian, Danielle Pisano, and Liz Majkowski at Club 101, 101 Park Ave., on Oct. 4, 2011
Yesterday, at the CREW/AREW lunch at Club 101, Horizon Land'sStephanie Butler told us she just returned from a trip to Russia and Ukraine and is jumping straight into holiday planning. In a few weeks, it'll be time for the AREW Charitable Fund to recruit Secret Santas for children in New York's Women in Need houses. Last year, they helped 225 children. She's with JLC Environmental's Jennifer Carey—who's also AREW prez, SL Green's Christine Vulaj andRachel Rahimian, Haves Pine & Seligman's Danielle Pisano, and SL Green's Liz Majkowski. The SL Green folks tell us they're building24 floors on the southeast corner of Broadway and John Street (three retail floors and 20 for student housing) across the street from the $1.4B Fulton Street transit hub, which will deliver in 2014).
Kim Dowdell, MacKenzie Landers, and Antonina Caruso at Club 101, 101 Park Ave., on Oct. 4, 2011
We snapped Levien & Co's Kim Dowdell, NYC Department of Design + Construction's MacKenzie Landers (one of the recipients of AREW's $187k in scholarships), and Holt Construction's Antonina Caruso, who was thrilled we realized her name isn't Anthony. (We were tipped off by the "W" in CREW and AREW's names.) Kim tells us she started two months ago with Levien, which celebrates 20 years in January.
