| HFF arranged a $372M, 10-year fixed-rate loan through MetLife Real Estate Investments for the 1.7M 1285 Avenue of the Americas. The firm’s Whitney Wilcox and Mike Tepedino repped borrowers AXA Equitable Life Insurance Co and institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management, which jointly own the building. The 42-story tower is the largest office building in the state to achieve LEED Silver and is nearly fully leased to tenants like UBS, Paul Weiss, and BBDO. In May, HFF closed on the $98M loan sale secured by the leasehold interest of 1140 Avenue of the Americas. Blackstone purchased the senior and mezz loans from seller Landesbank Baden-Württemberg. |
