Mr. Zegen co-founded Madison Realty Capital in 2004 and is responsible for overseeing the origination and structuring of all of MRC's investment activities, as well as raising institutional capital and portfolio management. Since MRC's inception, Mr. Zegen has closed real estate transactions totaling in excess of $11 billion. At the firm, Mr. Zegen serves on several investment committees related to both the debt and equity platforms. Prior to founding MRC, he founded and was president of Alpine Commercial Capital, a mortgage advisory firm that successfully closed over $500 million in real estate financings. Prior to forming Alpine, Mr. Zegen was an investment banker in Salomon Smith Barney's financial sponsors/private equity group where he focused on leveraged buyouts, equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions and private placement transactions. He is a co-founder and board member of The New York Private Equity Network ("NYPEN"). Mr. Zegen graduated cum laude from Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics.

Mr. Landau is a member and the Chief Executive Officer of Fortis. As Fortis’ CEO, Mr. Landau has been successful in developing important real estate opportunities based on the significant real estate relationships and network which he first generated while practicing law and expanded at Fortis. Signature achievements include developing the first luxury condominium tower in New York’s Seaport District and securing the most desirable redevelopment opportunity in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn creating a new multi-block place-making residential destination, River Park. Prior to joining Fortis, Mr. Landau practiced corporate / transactional and tax law with DLA Piper LLP for six years, primarily advising real estate companies on acquisitions, dispositions, syndications, joint ventures, entity-level investments and tax-structured transactions. Mr. Landau holds a JD from the University of Maryland.

Margaux Nguyen is the Program Manager at Willdan Energy Solutions for the Con Edison Multifamily Energy Efficiency Program. Ms. Nguyen has over seven years of experience with various New York State, City and utility energy efficiency programs. She holds a B.S. in Business Management and Environmental Studies from the University of California in Santa Cruz, and an M.P.A. in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University.

Alireza (Ali) Esmaeilzadeh leads Brookfield’s residential and commercial development business for the NY and Boston regions. Prior to his current role, he was responsible for the asset management and leasing of a 6 million square foot Class A New York commercial portfolio, including the New York Times building and the Tata Innovation Center at CornellTech. Prior to joining Brookfield Properties, Mr. Esmaeilzadeh headed the NYC offices of Forest City Enterprises and previous to that, he was a banker in the investment banking division of Scotiabank in Toronto, Ontario. Mr. Esmaeilzadeh received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, and graduated with honors from Queen’s University, in Ontario, Canada. Mr. Esmaeilzadeh proudly serves on the Brooklyn Hospital’s Board of Trustees, as well as the boards of Brooklyn Horizons, Greenpoint Manufacturing Design Center, and The Acting Company. Mr. Esmaeilzadeh is the Chairman of the MetroTech Business Improvement District; board member and secretary of the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership; board member of the Times Square Alliance and Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.

Morris’s main responsibilities are commercial asset management and growth for JEMB Realty. As such, he oversees assets and acquisitions in the United States. He provides overall leadership to JEMB property management teams in the New York Region and is involved in the development of new projects, based on input from the operational side and customer appeal aspect. An integral part of the corporate team, Morris provides innovative vision to the company. Introduced to the industry early in his youth, he has acquired broad experience in real estate property management. This in-depth understanding enables him to envision a more strategic and creative approach while exercising sound judgment in identifying and evaluating opportunities for value creation. Mitch Korbey is a partner, and chair of Herrick’s Land Use & Zoning Group. Mitch is an accomplished urban planner and land use attorney with more than 30 years of experience in private practice and government service. Mitch is a former Commissioner of the Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA), a former director of the Department of City Planning's (DCP) Brooklyn office, and a former deputy director of DCP’s Staten Island office. Mitch has been recognized by Chambers USA as one of New York City’s leading zoning lawyers for the past seven years. He advises clients on a wide range of issues, including site acquisitions and assemblages, site development options, zoning lot mergers and development rights transfers, as well as applications for zoning variances, special permits and other discretionary approvals from the BSA, DCP, Department of Buildings, Landmarks Preservation Commission, and other agencies. Mitch also regularly counsels prominent developers, owners and lenders on the management of millions of square-feet of New York City real estate. In doing so, he navigates the complexities of the City’s byzantine zoning resolution – guiding clients to the most efficient intersection of their business goals and what the rules will allow. He also keeps clients abreast of political headwinds that could impact their properties or development plans. Mitch is an adjunct professor of law at Brooklyn Law School, and an adjunct with Hunter College's graduate program in urban planning.

As a principal of Property Markets Group, Richard Lam has overseen the acquisition, development and disposition of over $2.0 billion of real estate throughout the East Coast including luxury condominiums in Manhattan, top-rated golf course communities in Florida and mixed-use land development in South Carolina. Currently, Richard is spearheading the rezoning of a portfolio of assets in New York City with the potential to build out over two million square feet. The mix of residential and commercial buildings are located along the soon-to-be reimagined vibrant Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn. Richard began his career at real estate investment firm of S.R. Morgan & Co. where he handled acquisitions for the firm's own account, as well as for third party investors totaling over 2.5 million square feet. Since joining PMG in 2000, Richard has played a key role in adding commercial, residential and hospitality properties to the firm's extensive portfolio.

Shlomo Silber is the co-founder and CEO of the shared workspace, Bond Collective. As the visionary behind the company, Silber’s vast experience in the real estate and development sector allowed him to identify a gap in the marketplace for a hospitality-driven, member-centric workspace, driving him to found Bond Collective in 2012 with partner, Elie Deitsch. An entrepreneur at heart, Silber was also the founder of Elbo Construction, a company that specialized in luxury apartment, brownstone, condominium and office suite renovations. Prior to that, he was a property and project manager across a substantial residential portfolio in New York City. While Silber heads up Bond Collective as CEO, he’s not afraid to put his handyman skills to the test by fixing a broken table or chair for members. He currently lives in Queens with his wife and four sons, all under the age of 9, is a cross-fit fanatic and takes any chance he can get to explore hiking trails throughout the country.

Brendan Maddigan is Vice Chairman at JLL, were he focuses on investment sales in Brooklyn and Queens. Mr. Maddigan has handled over 250 transactions with an aggregate consideration of over $2.0 billion. In 2018 alone, Brendan and his team successfully handled over 27 assignments with a total dollar volume of nearly $300 million.
