Artificial intelligence is one of the most divisive issues of our era. Depending on who you ask, it is either a threat or an opportunity to remove some of the most mundane activities in our lives. Brokerage firm JLL has been exploring the upsides of AI and this summer launched its own generative artificial intelligence model called JLL GPT.

On this episode of Bisnow Reports, JLL Chief Technology Officer Yao Morin discusses its uses and how she thinks AI can improve the lives of brokers and help them do their jobs. She discusses the widespread angst about AI, its dangers and the concerns that it will push people out of employment.

“AI is here to replace tasks, not jobs. One good thing about AI is that it can quickly automate small things,” Morin said on the show.” And then some repetitive work, some of the work that does not require a lot of expertise, I think AI could replace that. But it's not to replace your job.”
