'Billionaire’s Beach' Open to the Public


The California Coastal Commission is officially opening a public accessway to one of Malibu’s most exclusive coastlines on Tuesday. Nicknamed “Billionaire’s Beach,” the 1.5-mile stretch of Carbon Beach has been the subject of a lengthy legal dispute between public access advocates and a wealthy homeowner who refused to build a path.
