Ex-Employee Charges Zillow With Sexual Harassment, Torture

A former Zillow sales associate has accused the online real estate database company of "sexual torture" in a lawsuit charging sexual harassment and wrongful termination among other claims. The plaintiff, Rachel Kremer, claims male superiors at the company sent her sexually graphic pictures of their penises, commented on her breast size and demanded "sexual gratification," Bloomberg reported.

The suit, filed in a Santa Ana, CA federal court, is the latest in a string of harassment claims brought by female employees against companies in notoriously gender-imbalanced Silicon Valley, where female workers constitute less than 30% of the workforce at companies including Google, Facebook and Apple. Other recent targets include tech VC firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and the dating app Tinder. A Zillow spokeswoman said the company had investigated Kremer's allegations and fired a sales worker as a result.

Valleywag has posted grabs of several incriminating texts used as evidence in the suit.
