Study: Women Occupy More Senior-Level Roles Than Ever

Placeholder

Women in real estate hold more senior-level positions and are more satisfied with their career success than ever before, according to the latest study from CREW Network.

Despite a continuing “aspiration gap,” the 2015 Benchmark Study Report: Women in Commercial Real Estate finds women now occupy senior VP, managing director and partner positions more frequently than ever before.

Women also achieved parity with men in terms of career satisfaction and the percentage with direct reports, GlobeSt reports.

The one glaring, continuing disparity is income—in 2015 men in the industry made a media total income of $150k while women made only $115k.

That’s more than 23% less, and while the other improvements are welcome, there is still at least one big one to be made. [GS]
