Fannie Mae Is Putting Up Hot New Digs In Booming Area

After six months of weighing its options, Fannie Mae's expected to start construction on a giant new office tower—right next to the Dallas Cowboys new training facility.
The tower will be in the suburbs of Dallas-Fort Worth in Plano, TX, smack in the middle of a plethora of new corporate HQs, a sprawling mall and rapidly increasing property values, the Dallas Morning News reports.
Designed by Dallas architect BOKA Powell, the government-sponsored enterprise picked the new digs as a way to consolidate its Dallas operations. The tower's scheduled to open in October 2017. [DBN]
