The company tells us it secured DBR360--a cloud computing provider. Telx has been beefing up its presence at Clifton with the development and purchase of 100 Delwana Ave, whichwe reported here earlier this year. (Everyone knows clouds love Rutt Hutt's hot dogs.) Telxs John Freimuth tells us companies like DBR360 are likely to become more frequent customers, particularly along the West Coast: Demand from cloud companies among Telx facilities is kind of across the board right now.

DBR360s Anthony Lobretto says itspresence at Telxs NJR3 facility is part of astrategy aimed at small- to mid-sized clients. DBR360, historically, has built and operated private clouds for big companies. But itsleased suite in NJ will focus on a multi-tenant type of environment, Anthony says. Smaller customers are more hands off since they can handle their own space needs remotely.

Reaching the finish line at the new Telx facility in NJ wasnt without its challenges, Telxs Jen Sauer tells us. The facility is scheduled to open on June 19, a little more than two weeks behind initial plans due to Superstorm Sandy. While nothing happened directly to the facility, rounding up construction crews for a few days was hard since they were handling emergency response. We didn't have any issues getting everybody back on board once the hysteria calmed down a bit, she says.
