Colliers Takes Major Step In Its Capital Markets Expansion

Colliers bulked up its West Coast capital markets division overnight by wooing Robert Stamm and his team from Savills Studley. The move is part of a wider effort at Colliers to deepen its western presence by hiring experienced financiers.

Robert previously advised institutional clients and oversaw cross-border transactions in the US, Canada, Europe and Mexico. He will become a managing director at Colliers and co-lead Colliers’ National Institutional Investment Division.

He brings a team of three from Savills Studley. Steven Ward, Andres Roldan and Brandon McMenomy will join Colliers as senior directors. Steven and Andres will operate from Irvine, while Brandon will work in New York. Brian Corrigan, who handled debt and equity issues for Robert, will join as a senior managing director.

Colliers has aggressively recruited talent for its West Coast capital markets operations. ‎Colliers head of the western region Martin Pupil states the company is in a building mode. “One of our strategic goals in Colliers’ western region has been to recruit top talent in all commercial real estate categories, but particularly in the specialized realm of institutional investments, better known as capital markets,” he says.
