AI-Powered CRE Ops Platform Cambio Raises $18M

Commercial real estate AI company Cambio announced its public launch and $18M in Series A funding.

San Francisco-based Cambio uses agentic artificial intelligence, or AI that can perform tasks toward a certain goal with limited supervision, to take in building data and then use that information to evaluate performance, note retrofit opportunities and generate capital strategies.

“For years, owners have been buried in thousands of pages of unstructured building data, with no practical way to drive insights,” Cambio co-founder Leia de Guzman said in a statement.

Cambio launched its offering at the end of 2023, according to Crunchbase, and operates in 25 countries with information on more than 2B SF in assets.

“We built Cambio to answer investor-grade questions: where to deploy capital, which assets to prioritize, and how to maximize returns while meeting regulatory requirements — without adding operational burden,” co-founder Stephanie Grayson said in a statement.

The funding round was led by Maverick Ventures and included investments from Y Combinator, Adverb Ventures, Peterson Ventures and angel investors including executives from OpenAI and Anthropic.

Cambio has now raised $22M total, and its latest raise gives it a $100M valuation.

As a sector, proptech ended 2025 with more than $16B in investments, according to data from the Center for Real Estate Technology & Innovation.
