Early Post-Recession Condo Completed
Newgard Development Group’s 374-unit BrickellHouse in Brickell has received its temporary certificate of occupancy and is moving forward with unit closings. One of the development’s distinctions is that it was the first residential high-rise in Miami to launch sales following the recession, back in 2011. Newgard chairman Harvey Hernandez tells us his company’s belief at the time that demand would be strong was confirmed when 90% of the units sold in just a few months. These days, the 46-story tower is completely sold out; unit owners will begin taking occupancy in November.
