Buyers Keen for Small Industrial

The South Florida property boom isn’t benefiting only tall downtown towers or flashy condos, Avison Young principal Michael Walters tells us. The demand for smaller industrial buildings in many submarkets, such as Palm Beach County, is thriving once more. The demand for 15k to 35k SF buildings is very strong, “driven primarily by local businesses, who are once again prospering with the improving economy,” Michael says. This type of product is in very limited supply, and when it comes to market it's quickly purchased. Recently Michael brokered the sale of the 34k SF 1711 Upland Rd in West Palm Beach to Flagler Systems Management.
